Bag & Hat

Never Finished.  The hat is done..but never quite figured out what to do for handles for the bag...and oh..not to mention I CANNOT sew..I would love to find a partner to work with.  I crochet they put the linning in.  I even found cute little "crocheted by tags that can be sewn in...but hey that is all a dream right?

Crafting

So as I go through my tote...I cannot believe all the projects I have started and never finished...Is my life really that Chaotic?  Does everyone do this,or is it just my struggle. I am convinced I have adult add...anyways.

I really do plan on getting through this crap.

It's been a while

So as we start our first week of the new year, I have promised myself that I will get through all of my yarn before I buy a new skein of yarn.  It will be a hard promise to keep as I am always finding new projects to start and never want to use the yarn I have on hand.  My craft corner is out of control with bits of this & bits of that, but even if it is just a scrap bag that I make I plan on using up every little string.


This promise comes about because not only is it a new year,but my husband told me a few weeks ago that he had a dream that he was trapped in the bed and could not escape because my yarn waas keeping him hostage....lol:)  Happy New Year!!

The Ugly Blanket

The UGLY blanket was made on an impulse.  I went to the store thinking to myself I want to make a blanket for my new house.  I had no color scheme picked.  My House at the time was eggshell walls and still is.  The blanket I guess represents memories.  The colr scheme is a mixed emotion of new and old memories. I <3 the UGLY blanket.

The Mom inspired hat.

I saw the pattern for this hat and just could not resist making it.  A beautiful hat that reminded me of my Mom.  It is so sunny.  any color would fit. yellow,pink,blue,green,and my fav RED.  I am thinking of plating with the pattern a bit to make it completely solid and adding large flowers,but that will have to wait.  many items still to complete before Christmas.
